Principal Software Engineer

We're looking for a Principal Software Engineer to lead the technical direction of the Simplex Suite platform, serving global QSR and F&B brands. This is the most senior engineering role in the organization, working directly with the     CTO to shape architecture, drive engineering excellence, and build scalable AI-powered solutions.

You'll be a hands-on technical leader who solves complex challenges, mentors engineers, and sets the standard for software craftsmanship across the company.

Job Descriptions

  • Define technical strategy and architecture for high-scale SaaS products.

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and resilient systems.

  • Drive engineering standards, code quality, and best practices across teams.

  • Build and optimize microservices-based applications and cloud-native solutions.

  • Lead AI/ML initiatives from concept to production deployment.

  • Improve platform performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

  • Mentor Senior and Mid-Level Engineers and help grow engineering capability.

  • Partner with the CTO and stakeholders on technical roadmaps and key technology decisions.

  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and establish operational excellence.

  • Backend: Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Microservices

  • Frontend: Next.js, React

  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis

  • Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, CI/CD

  • Messaging: RabbitMQ, Kafka

  • AI/ML: LLMs, model training & inference, AI APIs

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.

  • Strong solution architecture and distributed systems expertise.

  • Deep hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and modern web platforms.

  • Experience designing and operating large-scale SaaS products.

  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience.

  • Strong cloud and DevOps knowledge.

  • Practical experience building and deploying AI-powered solutions.

  • Passion for clean code, performance, security, and engineering excellence.
